Terms

Terms & Conditions

By using this website or our referral services, you agree to the terms below. They’re straightforward — written in plain English, with the important parts stated up front.

About us

Rachel’s Homecare Connection is a Florida-licensed nurse registry (License #30213122) operating in Sarasota, Florida. We are not a home health agency. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Rachel’s Homecare Connection. References to “you” mean the person accessing this website or engaging our services.

We are a nurse registry — not an employer of caregivers

This is the most important thing to understand. As a Florida-licensed nurse registry, our role is to refer independent caregivers and nurses to clients who request care. We do not employ those caregivers, and we do not directly provide home health, nursing, or personal-care services. Each caregiver is an independent contractor responsible for the services they provide.

This means: when a caregiver or nurse begins working with you through our registry, the working relationship is between you and that caregiver. We are not party to that relationship. We do not supervise, schedule, train, or control how care is delivered. We carefully select who we refer, but the choice to engage any caregiver — and the day-to-day arrangement — is yours.

Use of this website

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes related to learning about our services or contacting us. You agree not to:

Referrals and matching

When you contact us about care, we may suggest one or more independent caregivers or nurses from our registry whose skills and availability fit your situation. You decide whether to engage any of them. Payment terms, schedule, scope of work, and any other arrangements are agreed directly between you and the caregiver. We may invoice for registry services as separately disclosed in writing.

Not medical advice

Nothing on this website is medical, nursing, legal, or financial advice. The site provides general information about our registry and the kinds of support available. For medical decisions, please consult a licensed clinician who knows your circumstances.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, photos, logos, and design — is owned by Rachel’s Homecare Connection or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify this content without our written permission, except for normal browsing and printing for personal use.

Third-party links

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Rachel’s Homecare Connection is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website or our referral services. Because referred caregivers are independent contractors, we are not responsible for their acts or omissions in providing care.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Rachel’s Homecare Connection harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your misuse of this website or your engagement of a caregiver outside the scope of our referral.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this website or our referral services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sarasota County, Florida.
